Brooks Automation is seeking a Staff Embedded Software Engineer to drive architecture for real-time control platforms in our automation and robotics portfolio. You will lead cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and partner with executive leadership to define long-term technology roadmaps.

This hybrid role offers opportunities to influence next-generation systems across hardware/software integration, BSPs, and device drivers, with a focus on reliability and performance in semiconductor

Formación

• 10+ years of experience developing embedded software for real-time systems.
• Proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20) and object-oriented design.
• Experience architecting large-scale embedded software platforms.
• Strong experience with RTOS and embedded Linux.
• Ability to mentor engineers and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Define and drive software architecture for complex, system-wide product platforms.
• Lead design and implementation of distributed control systems and real-time automation solutions.
• Review and approve architectural decisions affecting product reliability and performance.
• Mentor engineers and lead technical reviews across programs.
