Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Embedded Software Engineer in Baltimore, MD. You will contribute to RF front end control software within the Software and Digital Technologies Organization, focusing on C/C++ applications across the full software lifecycle.

The role requires a strong background in real-time embedded systems, Linux, and experience with PCIe, FPGAs/ASICs, and mixed Intel/ARM platforms. Collaboration and innovation are valued in our dynamic environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 12+ years of related experience.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance with SAP access.
• Experience with C/C++, real-time embedded software, and Linux.
• Experience with PCIe devices and RF subsystems.

• Drive architectural decisions for a front end control software product line.
• Provide product ownership and technical direction for embedded software engineers.
• Analyze, develop, modify, and test existing software across the lifecycle.
• Identify risks, track defects, and report status.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to test software on simulators and production hardware in SILs.
• Evaluate new technologies and maintain system-level traceability.
