Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Baltimore, MD seeks a Staff Electronics Engineer – HW & SW Test to develop, integrate, and sustain test hardware and software across the product lifecycle. You will design fixtures, integrate software, and support factory testing, debugging and design reviews.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, hands-on troubleshooting, and leadership of test design efforts for RF, analog, and digital systems. Baltimore onsite, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

  • 12 years of experience with a Bachelors of Science in a STEM discipline; 8 years of System Engineering experience with Masters; 6 years with a PhD.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance within the last 6 years and ability to obtain SAP.
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications, schematics and diagrams; RF theory background.

  • Develop, test, and sustain hardware and software for complex electronic systems from requirements through verification and certification.
  • Design electromechanical test fixtures and associated software.

The candidate should be a self‑driven problem solver with experience developing, enhancing, and maintaining test hardware and software for complex electronic systems.In this role, you will support the entire product lifecycle, from design and implementation through flight test and debugging, to ensure that product requirements are met. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
