Job summary

Brindley Engineering in Houston, TX seeks an experienced electrical engineer to lead field evaluations of power distribution systems for industrial facilities. The role calls for developing calculations, repair drawings, and technical support for outages, with strong collaboration during client meetings and field activities.

The candidate should have a BS in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience; PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: BS in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: minimum 8+ years.
• Licensure: PE preferred.
• Arc Flash knowledge preferred.
• Management experience leading small teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead field and technical evaluations of electrical power distribution systems.
• Develop calculations, repair drawings, and repair/replacement specifications.
• Attend client technical meetings and field walk-downs.
• Provide technical support for field execution and outages/turnarounds.
• Develop constructability planning, proposals, and estimates.
• Power distribution for industrial plants (Medium/Low Voltage).

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for field execution, including outage/turnaround projects

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor of Science inElectricalEngineering
• Experience: Min Yr =8+
• Licensure: P.E. Preferred
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of Electrical Engineering codes, Arc Flash preferred
• Management: Experienceleading small teams and working with other disciplines.
• Other Skills: Strongorganizational,written,and verbal communication skills
