• Solid applied statistics with practical causal inference methods.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or R for analysis and reproducible workflows.
• Ability to define metric frameworks and present findings to executives.

Responsibilities

• Embed with product, engineering, and design as a decision partner.
• Define goal metrics, guardrails, and metric trees for the product area.
• Design, power, and analyze A/B and quasi-experiments.
• Apply causal methods (DiD, synthetic control, IV, propensity scoring).
• Build ROI models and opportunity sizing to inform trade-offs.
• Lead root-cause analyses of user behavior and funnel performance.
• Mentor junior data scientists and analysts; establish standards.
