Job summary

Coupang is seeking a Staff Data Scientist for Coupang Ads to drive data-driven monetization strategies and product insights. You will develop models, run experiments, and communicate results to inform senior leadership.

You will join a globally distributed Ads Product Analytics team optimizing revenue across display, search, and video ads. The role requires strong statistics, ML modeling, and backend data system experience, plus ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in CS, EE, Math or related field.
• 4+ years of data science experience in customer-facing tech companies.
• Expertise in experimentation and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test product monetization strategies and revenue impact via simulations.
• Define and deliver KPIs for product adoption, usage, performance, and churn; monitor monetization.
• Design and maintain inventory and revenue forecasting models for revenue optimization.
