Clarium is hiring a staff-level data engineer to set technical direction for our data platform. You will own data ingestion, transformation, and warehousing across AWS, collaborating with analytics, product, and engineering teams. You will model ERP-sourced supply chain data and drive governance for sensitive datasets.

You will lead multi-quarter initiatives, mentor engineers, and help shape a high-velocity, remote-first team building a healthcare-focused data platform.

Competenze

• 8+ years of data or software engineering experience.
• Expert SQL for complex analytics and reading a query plan.
• Strong Python for production data work and pipelines.
• Deep experience with Postgres and Snowflake databases.
• Hands-on with data pipelines and orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, dbt, Fivetran, Spark, Kafka).
• Production AWS experience with data workloads (S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS).
• Track record leading cross-quarter, cross-team initiatives with ambiguity.

Mansioni

• Own the architecture and technical roadmap for core data infrastructure on AWS.
• Design, build, and operate reliable batch and near-real-time pipelines with clear SLAs and observability.
• Model supply chain data from external ERP systems into a coherent warehouse model and migrate legacy assets.
• Tune performance and cost across Postgres and Snowflake (query plans, indexing, partitioning, sizing).
• Establish engineering standards for data work and mentor engineers through design reviews and feedback.
• Partner with analytics, product, and engineering to turn ambiguous questions into durable data models.
• Lead governance for sensitive data including lineage, access controls, retention, auditability, and de-identification.
