Forterra Inc. is looking for an experienced Staff Data Engineer to join our Data Team in Arlington, Virginia. You will play a critical role in implementing and developing data pipelines, ensuring optimal performance of our data warehouse and creating best-in-class data products.

The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of relevant experience, expert SQL skills, and proficiency in Python, alongside knowledge of cloud infrastructure and modern data warehousing solutions like Snowflake.

We offer a competitive salary between $145,000 – $175,000, along with generous health benefits, paid time off, and a professional development stipend.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
• Expert SQL knowledge and proficiency in Python.
• Experience with modern data warehouses like Snowflake and BigQuery.
