Job summary

PayNearMe MT, Inc is seeking a remote, full-time Staff Data Engineer to provide technical leadership in designing and developing a modern data platform that supports reporting and analytics. You will lead scalable data models across bronze, silver, and gold layers and architect cloud-native ELT pipelines for payment analytics and regulatory reporting.

The role requires a strong background in enterprise data platforms, dimensional modeling, and SQL/Python with Snowflake and AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Data Platform Engineering.
• Deep expertise designing enterprise-scale data platforms and cloud-native architectures.
• Expert knowledge of dimensional modeling, fact and dimension design, and data warehouse architecture.
• Strong experience with SQL, Python, Snowflake, dbt, and AWS technologies.

Responsibilities
