Job summary

Wabtec Corporation in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Staff Cybersecurity Architect to advise the CISO, assess IT and OT network security, define target-state designs, and guide secure implementations across environments.

You will drive architecture evaluation, establish standards, segmentation and Zero Trust, and provide leadership to engineers and project teams, partnering with business and infrastructure to align with cybersecurity strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in cybersecurity or a related field.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity with significant network security architecture experience.
• Knowledge of security frameworks, segmentation, Zero Trust, cloud networking, IAM and perimeter security.
• Experience developing assessments, gap analyses, roadmaps, firewall designs, and security controls.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CISM, TOGAF, SABSA, Cisco, or Fortinet.

Responsibilities

• Assess IT and OT network security architectures and identify risks, gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with business, infrastructure, cloud and networking teams to define requirements and priorities.
• Develop and maintain a risk-based network security roadmap aligned to business and cybersecurity strategy.
• Establish network security standards, reference architectures, and approved design patterns.
• Design secure on-premises, cloud, and hybrid network architectures with segmentation and Zero Trust patterns.
• Guide implementation and validate security controls across projects and migrations.
• Present assessments, recommendations and roadmaps to leadership.
