Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior security engineering leader to design and implement resilient controls across infrastructure, cloud, and application environments. You will lead security initiatives, mentor engineers, and drive incident investigations and long-term remediation.

The role requires guiding multiple teams, aligning security standards with business objectives, and embedding security into system design and delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity/security operations/related roles.
• Experience designing and maintaining security controls across infra, cloud, and apps.
• Ability to lead complex technical work and influence security outcomes.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or cloud security certs (e.g., AWS Certified Security).
• 10+ years in cybersecurity domains (preferred).
• 2+ years applying frameworks like OWASP Top 10 for LLM apps, MITRE ATLAS, and NIST AI RM (preferred).
• 2+ years securing AI products in regulated industries (preferred).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field or equivalent, relevant work experience
• 8+ years of experience working in cybersecurity, security operations, IAM, PAM, or related technical roles
• Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls across infrastructure, cloud, and application environments
• Proven ability to lead complex technical work and influence security outcomes across teams
• Industry‑recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, and/or cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security)
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, security operations, IAM, PAM, cyber defense, or related domains (preferred)
• 2+ years of experience applying frameworks such as OWASP Top 10 for LLM applications, MITRE ATLAS, and NIST AI Risk Management (preferred)
• 2+ years of experience securing AI products in regulated industries (preferred)
