Job summary

Turing is seeking a Staff Corporate Security Engineer to secure endpoints, identities, and the SaaS estate for a fast-growing, remote-friendly workforce. You will define the technical direction, build scalable security tooling, and raise the security bar across the organization while preserving a smooth employee experience.

As a Staff engineer, you’ll mentor peers, lead cross-team initiatives, and partner with IT to surface high-signal detections and prevent incidents.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security engineering for corporate/enterprise environments.
• Hands-on endpoint security (EDR/MDM) across macOS and Windows.
• IAM expertise: SSO, MFA, SAML/OIDC, and modern IdPs (Okta, Entra ID, Google Workspace).
• Experience securing SaaS environments and driving zero-trust access.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Go or similar).
• Ability to balance strong security with a positive employee experience and lead cross-team initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own the security of our endpoint fleet (macOS, Windows, Linux): hardening, EDR, patching, device compliance via MDM.
• Design and operate identity and access architecture: SSO, MFA, conditional access, least-privilege access to corporate systems and SaaS.
• Drive our zero-trust strategy for corporate access, reducing reliance on the network perimeter.
• Secure our SaaS estate: configuration hardening, monitoring, automated detection of risky changes and access.
• Build automation and tooling to scale corporate security — provisioning/deprovisioning, access reviews, self-service guardrails.
• Partner with IT and Detection & Response to instrument corporate telemetry and surface high-signal detections for phishing, account compromise, and device threats.
• Lead corporate security response to phishing, account takeover, and endpoint incidents, then build preventive systems.
• Set standards and mentor engineers across IT and security.
