Job summary

Perplexity is seeking a senior Cloud Infrastructure lead to own the roadmap for agent-driven cloud platforms. You will design the networking fabric, scale Kubernetes/EKS clusters, and ensure secure, multi-tenant environments across regions.

You will partner with security to implement BYOK/KMS integrations and enterprise controls while advancing automation and runbooks for day-2 operations across Perplexity products.

Qualifications

• AWS cloud infrastructure design (VPCs, routing, security groups)
• Kubernetes/EKS orchestration across clusters and regions
• Experience with cloud networking and peering
• Secure isolated environments for multi-tenant and BYOC
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform
• Strong debugging and incident management across distributed systems
• 7+ years of production cloud infra experience

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and technical strategy for agent-driven cloud infrastructure management.
• Design and operate cloud networking fabric, including VPCs, private connectivity, and hyperscaler peering.
• Architect and scale compute platforms (Kubernetes/EKS, autoscaling, mixed CPU/GPU fleets).
• Build and maintain secure, isolated deployment topologies for multi-tenant and BYOC environments.
• Implement multi-region availability, traffic routing, and disaster recovery playbooks.
• Partner with security for BYOK/KMS integrations and enterprise controls.
• Develop automation, tooling, and runbooks for day-2 operations across environments.
