Job summary

Water Works Engineers is seeking a Staff Engineer to help plan, design, and oversee civil and environmental projects across the water sector. You will work with a PM and Project Engineer to perform calculations, prepare reports, review submittals, and conduct field inspections as part of project development.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering, an EIT certification, 1–3 years of experience, and is proficient with CADD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an accredited program.
• EIT certification or active licensure considered a plus.
• 1–3 years of relevant civil/environmental engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, designing, and developing civil and environmental projects.
• Perform necessary calculations for preliminary and detailed designs.
• Prepare reports, plans, and specifications for projects.
• Review construction submittals for compliance with requirements.
• Conduct field inspections under a Project Engineer's guidance.
• Develop project cost estimates and schedules.
• Participate in project meetings and presentations.
