Job summary

Abonmarche is seeking a Staff Engineer to join our Goshen, Indiana office. The role provides engineering support for municipal and private projects, including roadways, sewers, water mains, bridges, and asset management.

You will assist with client communication, cost estimates, reports, and design documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D. The position requires a BS in Civil Engineering with 0–3 years of experience; EIT is preferred, along with knowledge of MS Office and construction materials.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years experience preferred.
• EIT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for municipal and private projects including roadway reconstruction, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, water mains, bridges, trails, traffic signals, marinas, and asset management projects.
• Assist in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.
• Assist in the development of estimates of probable construction cost.
• Attend client meetings.
• Assist in the analysis and preparation of reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, and tests.
• Prepare design computations and quantity estimates.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, permits and designs for project.
• Develop computer models for hydraulics, hydrology, traffic and terrain.
• Staff Engineers will perform construction inspection duties as needed to monitor progress and perform other duties per the contract documents.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D software to prepare engineering and design documents.
