Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has an opening for an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead with a technical background in Mechanical Engineering. This position is located in Linthicum, MD. The IPT Lead will be required to lead an engineering team working to transition designs to production for the Chilled Water program with many time‑critical elements and high management visibility. They will interface with personnel in Engineering & Program Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Mission Assurance. In addition, they will brief internal, and potentially external customer, leadership on progress. The selected candidate will perform in a fast‑paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings. The selected candidate is expected to be self‑motivated, highly organized, detail oriented and possess effective verbal and written communication skills. This role is contingent upon Program Award, and upon candidates having an Active and current Secret government clearance.
Primary level salary range: $169,000.00 - $253,600.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
