Job summary

Housewrights in Wisconsin is seeking a Staff Carpenter to join a premier residential design-build team. You will work closely with Lead Carpenters on remodeling and new home construction, performing framing, trim work, and general carpentry on-site in a supportive, skilled environment.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, a competitive benefits package (health, dental, PTO), a workwear allowance, and opportunities for continuing education as you grow your

Qualifications

• Some experience in residential construction or remodeling preferred.
• Ability to perform framing, trim work, and general labor.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and grow in the carpentry trade.
• Willingness to work on-site in varying conditions, including residential heights up to 35 feet.

Responsibilities

• Support residential remodeling and new home construction projects.
• Perform framing and trim work as part of daily tasks.

STAFF CARPENTER

As a Staff Carpenter, you will work closely with Lead Carpenters to support residential remodeling and new home construction projects. This hands-on role includes framing, trim work, general carpentry, and daily job site tasks, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills in a supportive team environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Some experience in residential construction or remodeling preferred (we’re open to training those eager to learn!).
• Ability to perform a range of tasks, including framing, trim work, and general labor.
