Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. in San Diego, CA, seeks a senior Camera Systems engineer to lead research, design, development, and verification of complex camera hardware and software tasks, including ISP, 3A, and image quality modules.

You will drive architecture, IQ modules, and feature tuning, ensure performance targets, and contribute to design reviews and project planning. A Master’s degree and three years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Three years of experience in a related occupation.
• Experience with camera ISP, 3A, and image quality is preferred.

General Summary

This individual leads, plans, synthesizes ambiguous or conflicting requirements and performs the complex responsibility of the researching, designing, developing, implementing, and verifying of complex camera systems and HW or FW tasks (including Camera Image Signal Processor (ISP), 3A (AWB, AEC, AF), Image Quality, Features, Tuning Tools), algorithms, features, logic design, modeling, and design verification. Performs architecture, IQ modules, algorithm and feature decomposition to drive requirements and specifications for hardware development. Ensures image quality, systems performance, ISP area and power metrics are met. Acts as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings and communicates and implements a development plan.

Will accept a Master's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field and three (3) years of experience in a related occupation.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $148,300.00 - $222,500.00/year
