Job summary

Ursa Major is seeking a Staff Business Operations Analyst in Colorado to serve as the President’s right hand, connecting financial, operational, and strategic efforts. You’ll manage high-impact projects, turning complex information into decision-ready insights to grow the business.

You bring 5+ years in top-tier consulting/finance roles, strong analytical and presentation skills, and a proven ability to manage priorities with minimal direction. A U.S. security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or a high-growth operating role.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, with comfort building models and working with messy data.
• Ability to distill complexity into clear, compelling presentations.
• Proven record of managing multiple priorities and delivering with minimal direction.
• Excellent judgment, discretion, and communication skills.
• Defense, aerospace, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance (if applicable).

The Role

The Staff Business Operations Analyst serves as the President’s right hand, connecting financial, operational, and strategic efforts across the company. You’ll take on a wide range of high-impact, one-off projects, turning complex information into clear, decision-ready insights that help the President make faster, more accurate calls to grow the business.

What You’ll Do

• Act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the President
• Lead cross-functional projects spanning finance, operations, and strategy
• Gather, analyze, and synthesize data into concise briefings, dashboards, and recommendations
• Drive priority initiatives from scoping through execution and follow-up
• Prepare materials for leadership meetings, board discussions, and key customer and partner engagements

Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $140,000 - $175,000, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. What we can't quantify for you are the exciting challenges, supportive team, and amazing culture we enjoy.
