Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Staff Business Data Analyst on its Modern Ops Expert Planning team to shape optimized network plans and drive analytical foundations across global operations. The role partners with Director+ leaders across Product, Service Delivery, Partner Management, Talent Acquisition, and Finance, mentoring junior analysts and delivering rigorous forecasting and standardized processes.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in capacity planning, workforce management, or labor modeling with ownership of complex initiatives.
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience, leading cross-functional delivery in ambiguous environments.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and SQL; working knowledge of big data tools and BI platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own optimized headcount, hiring, and capacity planning frameworks at IG level, balancing service levels, employee experience, and cost.
  • Lead capacity risk identification and mitigation across multiple initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Develop KPI frameworks and standardize metrics, reporting, and decision-making infrastructure.
  • Partner with internal technology teams to implement planning tools, data enhancements, and automation at scale.
  • Lead operational impact assessments for product, skill, and channel launches and present findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain end-to-end resource plans with cross-functional teams and align staffing strategies with demand forecasts.
  • Implement AI/GenAI and BI tools to improve initiative planning and drive adoption across the team.
  • Lead global process and reporting standardization to scale solutions and document clear tradeoffs.
  • Mentor junior analysts on technical execution, storytelling, and stakeholder influence.

Operating at the intersection of data, operations, and strategy, this role partners closely with and influences Director+ stakeholders across Product, Service Delivery, Partner Management, Talent Acquisition, and Finance — and actively mentors junior analysts to raise the bar on team capability.

Responsibilities
  • Define and own optimized headcount, hiring, and capacity planning frameworks at the IG level, balancing service levels, employee experience, and cost outcomes across GBSG — and provide thought partnership to Director+ business leaders on how best to harness available data in support of critical planning needs
  • Lead capacity risk identification and mitigation across multiple concurrent initiatives, proactively surfacing roadblocks, managing cross-functional dependencies, and driving stakeholders toward resolution
  • Develop KPI frameworks and success criteria that set the planning standard at the IG level; define and standardize metrics, reporting, and decision-making infrastructure across the organization
  • Partner with and influence internal technology teams to implement new planning tools, data enhancements, and automation capabilities — with a scale mindset toward solutions others can adopt
  • Lead operational impact assessments for global product, skill, and channel launches; integrate new initiatives into long-term capacity plans and present findings to senior stakeholders for sign-off
  • Build and maintain E2E resource and delivery plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams across Service Delivery, Partner Management, Talent Acquisition, and Finance; align on staffing strategies grounded in historical trend analysis and forward-looking demand forecasts
  • Implement AI/GenAI and BI tools to solve for initiative-level planning outcomes; drive adoption of new capabilities across the planning team
  • Lead global process and reporting standardization efforts; identify and document E2E vision for scaling solutions with a clear view of tradeoffs
  • Mentor junior analysts on technical execution, storytelling, and stakeholder influence — actively contributing to team growth and analytical capability
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in capacity planning, workforce management, or labor modeling, with demonstrated ownership of complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience, including leading cross-functional delivery in ambiguous environments
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and SQL; working knowledge of big data tools (e.g. Redshift, Spark) and BI platforms (e.g. Tableau, Qlik)
  • Demonstrated ability to define KPI frameworks, model complex capacity scenarios, and translate findings into clear recommendations for Director+ and senior leaders
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills with proven ability to drive alignment and influence decisions across competing priorities and stakeholder groups
  • Track record of building scalable analytical frameworks, tools, or processes adopted beyond the immediate team
  • Experience mentoring or developing junior analysts preferred
