You will guide architecture, ensure reliability, and mentor engineers toward Staff-level leadership while aligning technical decisions with farmer outcomes and production-grade data systems.

Qualifications
- BS or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Experience leading multiple teams on scalable cloud-based microservices.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java or Python).
Responsibilities
- Define and drive technical strategy for high-priority initiatives from architecture to delivery.
- Clarify ambiguous problems and translate goals into actionable tasks.
- Set engineering standards for reliability, observability, and code quality.
- Mentor senior engineers toward Staff-level leadership.
- Champion farmer-outcome focused decisions and scalable data platforms.
- Shape architecture for data-intensive precision agriculture systems with cross-functional partners.
- Lead data engineering efforts with data science and product teams to production-ready capabilities.
