Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering, 3+ focused on infrastructure or backend systems.
• Strong fundamentals in backend programming languages like Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Deep experience with relational databases, preferably Postgres.

Responsibilities

• Own database performance: query optimization, indexing strategy, and capacity planning.
• Build caching infrastructure to optimize EHR API latency.
• Design systems to respect EHR API rate limits while maintaining user experience.
