You will mentor peers and collaborate with senior engineers on architecture and product decisions. The role emphasizes autonomy, high-impact delivery, and the opportunity to shape core platform capabilities used by 10+ product teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Experience writing testable and performant backend code.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design discussions.

Responsibilities

• Work on distributed processing engines and databases.
• Develop high-quality software with Python, MongoDB, CDC, and Kafka.
• Leverage big data tech like Aurora, Trino, Presto, Pinot, Iceberg, Flink.
• Build data platforms, data lakes, and scalable ingestion systems.
• Design, code, test, and improve software systems and user experiences.
• Collaborate with architects and senior developers on complex projects.
• Contribute to product design and implementation decisions.
• Translate ideas into production-ready solutions.
