Job summary

Motive is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Equipment Monitoring team. You’ll build backend systems that ingest telemetry from IoT devices and power real-time location, geofence events, trips, and alerts.

You’ll collaborate with Embedded/IoT teams to define data contracts and end-to-end data flows, while improving code quality and reducing technical debt. You will own the design of scalable APIs and data pipelines (Kafka, Flink), work across AWS cloud services, and mentor peers to foster
