Job summary

fomo is seeking an experienced backend engineer to join our NYC office. You’ll work across crypto infra, data ingestion, and social content engines, shaping a scalable microservices stack in TypeScript/Go with some Rust.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of experience, crypto exposure (Solana or EVM preferred), and willingness to contribute to front-end work when needed. Staff+ level autonomy and collaboration are key in our fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Staff+ level engineer with 6+ years of experience and autonomous planning
• Experience building in crypto (Solana or EVM preferred)
• Full-stack React experience is a plus

• Onchain data ingestion and portfolio-like data handling
• Social network content recommendation engines development
