Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Technical Lead to drive technical strategy within their Capacity Modeling team. You will manage backend systems, collaborate on product development, and advocate for technical solutions. Key qualifications include 8+ years of backend development experience with Python or Kotlin, expertise in distributed systems using AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes, and strong communication skills. Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale.
• Extensive track record of developing highly available distributed systems.
• Experience supporting large scale sales events.

• Delivered major features with a clear execution plan.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience gathering and iterating on feedback from peers.
