Job summary

Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Lead and drive projects through the full development lifecycle with autonomy.
- Mentorship to guide junior engineers and grow the team.
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Strong communication and ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, AI-native engineering organization.
Responsibilities
- Own the development of our flagship AI grocery ordering product backend.
- Define the architectural roadmap for next-generation systems.
- Lead design, buildout, and deployment of scalable APIs and backend systems.
- Collaborate with Designer and Product Manager teammates to deliver integrated solutions.
- Partner with Product, Accounts, and peer engineering teams to serve client needs.
- Grow a product used daily in thousands of grocery stores across the country.
- Leverage best-in-class AI development tools and modern technologies.
