General Division in Columbus, OH seeks a qualified attorney to assist a judge with research, drafting, and decision-making. The role includes conducting research, advising on legal issues during hearings, and supporting attorneys with procedural matters.
Responsibilities include drafting decisions, managing the civil docket, editing jury instructions, and coordinating with staff, attorneys, and litigants. A Juris Doctor and Ohio license are required.
The purpose of this position is to assist the Judge in the research, drafting, and decision-making process; conducting research and advising the Judge on legal issues that may arise in a hearing or bench trial; assisting attorneys with procedural questions/issues; and ensuring case flow and case management of pending actions.
