Job summary

Journey's End Refugee Services, Inc. seeks a Staff Attorney to develop and lead the Immigration and Legal Services Program, providing full-scale representation to low-income refugees, asylees, and other vulnerable immigrants in Western New York.

Qualifications

• Be admitted and in good standing of the bar of the highest court of any state or U.S. territory.
• Be able and willing to travel to all counties throughout Western New York.
• Part of a dynamic team of talented and dedicated individuals.
• Strong written, oral communication, and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct affirmative and defensive immigration legal representation to Western New York, including asylum, removal defense, adjustment of status, complex naturalization, family reunification, family-based immigration, TPS, SIJS, VAWA, work permits, humanitarian parole, and appeals.
