Harvard University’s Harvard Law School is seeking a Staff Attorney to lead the Animal Law Digest and contribute to a new aquaculture publication. You will conduct legal and policy research and collaborate with the Executive Director, Faculty Director, fellows, and student researchers.

The role involves supervising junior attorneys, developing partnerships with academic institutions and NGOs, and advancing animal law projects across environmental, agricultural, and rights of nature domains.

Qualifikationen

• JD degree and bar admission required.
• Superior research, writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Ability to distill complex information into succinct summaries and meet deadlines.
• Experience supervising junior attorneys and researchers a plus.

Aufgaben

• Oversee production of the Animal Law Digest and contribute to research and drafting.
• Track and analyze federal and state legislation, regulation, and litigation in animal law.
• Develop partnerships with stakeholders through research and meetings.
• Collaborate with Harvard initiatives and manage ALPP resources.
• Mentor research assistants and develop proposals for new projects.
