Job summary

MidPenn Legal Services in Lebanon, PA seeks a Staff Attorney to provide civil legal aid in housing, consumer, public benefits and family law. The attorney will advise clients, represent them, and help educate the community about services.

The role requires a PA law license with 1–4 years of experience; strong research, negotiation and communication skills are essential. This is a full-time on-site position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• A law degree and PA license with 1–4 years experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work with diverse client populations.
• Strong legal research skills; familiarity with online research (Westlaw preferred).
• Demonstrated initiative and teamwork; able to manage deadlines.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Consult, advise and represent income-eligible individuals in housing, consumer, public benefits and family law in Lebanon, PA.
• Provide community education and outreach about MidPenn services.
• Collaborate with a team to handle varied civil matters and deadlines.
