Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney licensed in North Carolina to join a dynamic and growing practice. The ideal candidate will bring sophisticated transactional experience gained at an Am Law 100 or Am Law 200 firm, with a proven track record of handling high‑profile commercial real estate matters. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, combining flexibility with meaningful collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development
- Represent institutional clients, developers, investors, and lenders on high‑value and high‑profile matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and related transactional documents
- Conduct and oversee due diligence, including title, survey, zoning, and environmental matters
- Coordinate with internal teams, opposing counsel, and clients to ensure timely and successful closings
- Provide strategic legal advice throughout the lifecycle of commercial real estate projects
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active North Carolina bar license in good standing
- Prior experience at an Am Law 100 or Am Law 200 firm
- Demonstrated experience working on high‑profile or complex commercial real estate matters
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a client‑service mindset
