Responsibilities

  • Handle complex commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development.
  • Provide strategic legal advice throughout the lifecycle of commercial real estate projects.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and related transactional documents.
  • Conduct and oversee due diligence, including title, survey, zoning, and environmental matters.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, opposing counsel, and clients to ensure timely closings.
  • Provide strategic legal advice throughout the lifecycle of commercial real estate projects.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney licensed in North Carolina to join a dynamic and growing practice. The ideal candidate will bring sophisticated transactional experience gained at an Am Law 100 or Am Law 200 firm, with a proven track record of handling high‑profile commercial real estate matters. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, combining flexibility with meaningful collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development
  • Represent institutional clients, developers, investors, and lenders on high‑value and high‑profile matters
  • Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and related transactional documents
  • Conduct and oversee due diligence, including title, survey, zoning, and environmental matters
  • Coordinate with internal teams, opposing counsel, and clients to ensure timely and successful closings
  • Provide strategic legal advice throughout the lifecycle of commercial real estate projects
