Job summary

The Office of Adam M. Goodman, Standing Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee, is accepting applications for a staff attorney position in Denver, Colorado.

  • Active Colorado Bar membership in good standing; admitted to practice in the District of Colorado.
  • Free of prejudice that would interfere with the Trustee's duties.
  • Not related by affinity or consanguinity within first cousins to any Bankruptcy or District Court Judge or related staff in the District of Colorado.

The Office of Adam M. Goodman, Standing Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee, is accepting applications for a staff attorney position. This individual will assist in the administration of Chapter 13 proceedings in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado. Responsibilties will include conducting meeting of creditors, appearing in court, reviewing and responding to pleadings, and drafting briefs.

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
  • 1. At least 6 months of bankruptcy law experience;
  • 2. Be a member in good standing of the Colorado Bar and admitted to practice in the District of Colorado;
  • 3. Be free of prejudice against any individual, entity, or group of individuals or entities which would interfere with unbiased performance of a Trustee's duties; and
  • 4. Must not be related by affinity or consanguinity within the degree of first cousins to any Bankruptcy or District Court Judge, any employee of the Office of the United States Trustee, Office of the Clerk of the United States Bankruptcy Court, or Office of the Chapter 13 Trustee in the District of Colorado.
