Staff attorneys provide a wide range of civil legal representation, advocacy, and outreach to low-income individuals. Though attorneys may occasionally work outside of their primary practice area, our civil litigation focuses on a broad range of matters, including housing, consumer, education, federal income tax, elder, employment, family, probate, public benefits, and migrant farmworker cases. You don't need any prior experience in all these areas. Attorneys typically focus their practice in a few areas and receive training and mentorship as needed.
