Upside in New York, New York is seeking an experienced security professional to bolster their AppSec team. In this role, you will innovate with AI and help identify and remediate application vulnerabilities, while liaising with stakeholders and engineers to improve secure coding practices.

The position requires 6+ years in application security and deep AWS knowledge, along with excellent communication skills. Upside offers a competitive salary range of $210,000 to $230,000, flexible work options, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of application or product security experience.
• Experience with solutions related to vulnerability management.
• Deep knowledge of AWS and Lambda security architecture.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
• Exceptional customer service and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Innovate with AI and deliver security solutions.
• Run security code tests and partner with engineers.
• Create threat models and document risks.
• Guide leadership on security architecture and practices.
