Job summary

ServiceLink is seeking an experienced, Certified appraiser to join our Staff Appraiser team in the Atlanta, GA area. This role allows work-from-home flexibility while requiring appraisal coverage in the Atlanta market, with ownership of high-quality desktop and field assignments.

You will perform desktop and field appraisals, conduct quality control reviews, and stay current with USPAP and state regulations. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and company-paid continuing education.

Qualifications

• Appraisal Certification (Residential or General)
• High School Diploma/GED required
• College Degree Preferred
• Experience to appraise a broad range of property types
• Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
• Proficient in the Microsoft software products
• Prior Valuation experience with a major lender or AMC preferred
• Advanced designations a plus

Responsibilities

• Complete quality Desktop and Field appraisal assignments consistent with established client driven turn times.
• Perform quality control reviews on complex valuation reports including jumbo loans and high net worth properties.
• Contact field appraisers to discuss and resolve complex or time-sensitive revision requests.
• Independently resolve quality control escalations by coaching field appraisers and coordinating with clients.
• Maintain knowledge of USPAP and state regulations as they pertain to appraisal services.
• Maintain licenses, including CEU compliance.
• Provide timely web updates on all assignments for excellent customer service.
• Uphold ServiceLink quality standards for completion and delivery of reports.

As a ServiceLink Staff Appraiser, you'll perform desktop and field appraisal assignments and quality control reviews consistent with established client-driven turn times and high-quality standards.

This position is Work from Home, but requires appraisal coverage and expertise in the Atlanta, GA market. As such, candidates must be located within reasonable commuting distance of this market and have appraisal expertise in this market.

This position requires the candidate to be a CERTIFIED real estate appraiser in Georgia. Only Certified Residential or Certified General appraisers will be considered. No trainee or licensed appraisers permitted.

Responsibilities

• Complete quality Desktop and Field appraisal assignments consistent with established client driven turn times.
• Perform quality control reviews on complex valuation reports including, but not limited to, jumbo loans, private wealth/high net worth, unique or complex properties, etc.
• Contact field appraisers as needed to discuss and resolve complex or time-sensitive revision requests.
• Independently resolve quality control escalations by coaching field appraisers, discussing concerns and options with a client, and keeping all parties informed while working toward a swift resolution.
• Understand, implement and keep current with ServiceLink policies and procedures.
• Maintain thorough understanding of USPAP, FNMA and all state regulations as they pertain to the performance of appraisal services.
• Maintain license(s) in good standing, including but not limited to attending CEU courses as mandated by state licensing entity.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of ServiceLink's quality standards for completion and delivery expectations of appraisal reports to clients.
• Provide timely web updates on all assignments to ensure excellent customer service.
• Exhibit a high degree of professionalism in attire, appearance, and demeanor when completing site visits.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
