Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• 8 years of software development experience.
• 5 years with speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or related ML field.
• 5 years of ML design and ML infrastructure experience (model deployment, evaluation, data processing, debugging, fine tuning).
• 5 years testing, launching software products, and 3 years in design/architecture.
• Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize end-to-end machine learning systems powering Android's AI agent.
• Translate user needs into well-defined ML problems and innovative solutions.
• Architect and implement robust data pipelines for large-scale training data.
• Lead development, training, and improvement of core ML models with on-device performance and privacy.
• Establish evaluation frameworks to measure model quality and reliability.
