Lendable is seeking a Staff Analytics Engineer to own the analytical foundation for the US Loans team, collaborating with analysts, product, backend engineers, and business stakeholders to improve data structure, transformation, and consumption across the company.

The role emphasizes building scalable data models, reliable analytics, and a strong warehouse as a strategic asset for the business, with ownership of modelling patterns and data quality.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with ELT pipelines and transformation at scale, using dbt.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technically and non-technically.
• Strong data modelling skills for reliable analytical datasets.
• Good judgment balancing long-term platform improvements with business needs.
• Ability to spot inefficiencies in data workflows and improve them.
• Comfort using AI tools to move faster and improve quality.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve data models supporting lending decisions, pricing, portfolio analysis, and investor reporting.
• Drive development of dbt models and transformation layer with analysts and stakeholders.
• Define modeling patterns, architecture, and implementation standards across analytics engineering.
• Support and mentor analysts at different levels to improve data practices.
• Mentor an analytics engineer and set team direction.
• Bridge analysts, backend engineers, product teams, and data platform for effective data use.
• Identify opportunities to improve transformation pipeline efficiency, reliability, and cost.
• Scale data infrastructure to support rapid business growth.
