Google LLC in Mountain View, California seeks a Staff Software Engineer focused on AI/ML for Search Ads. You will design and scale AI-powered ranking, experiments, and ad experiences, collaborating across Ads and DeepMind to push the frontier of advertising technology.

You will lead cross-functional teams, own end-to-end delivery from design to production, and mentor engineers while shaping data quality and evaluation methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of software development experience.
• 8 years with one or more general-purpose languages (Java, C/C++, Python).
• 5 years ML design and ML infrastructure experience.
• Experience with multimodal ML or LLMs and production systems.

Responsabilités

• Optimize the Search results page, including ads, using AI to improve relevance and growth.
• Leverage AI/ML advancements, including LLMs, to solve optimization problems across search ads.
• Deliver ad experiences in the AI era.
• Build self-service tools and platform features for AI/ML quality evaluation.
• Architect systems for deploying and serving AI/ML models for data quality tasks.
