Job summary

Databricks is seeking an experienced frontend/backend engineer in NYC to help build new products from the ground up, leveraging the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform for data and AI applications.

You will work with a small, nimble team and partner across product, design, and engineering to deliver intuitive, scalable interfaces for GenAI agents. This role emphasizes human-in-the-loop UX, ownership, and rapid MVP iterations.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or similar technologies.
• Demonstrated product mindset with the ability to translate ambiguous customer problems into scrappy MVPs and iterate quickly based on data and user feedback.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or VueJs/Ember) and server-side technologies (Node.js), SQL and Spark.

Responsibilities

• Create novel interfaces for GenAI agents that manage complex workflows while keeping humans in the loop.
• Collaborate with product management, design and engineering to build intuitive products that drive growth.
• Lead hands-on front-end and full-stack development while working with customers to create user-centric experiences.
• Enable onboarding and sharing capabilities to drive product-led growth.
• Shape the future of agentic applications with cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers and designers.
