Job summary

Ambral, a YC-backed AI company in New York, is building a replayable environment engine over real enterprise history. You will join the core production systems and work directly with the CTO to deploy and improve enterprise data-driven models.

You will own infrastructure for large-scale data processing, evaluation, and model improvement, delivering measurable outcomes for customers and driving cost-efficient AI.

Qualifications

• Experience building production-grade software (internships are ok).
• Ability to process large, messy datasets at scale with strong data structures.
• Ability to turn fuzzy business objectives into measurable tasks and signals.

Responsibilities

• Build the replayable environment engine over real enterprise history.
• Work hands-on with customers to turn their data into a scalable model-improvement system.
• Develop infrastructure and graders to convert data and task definitions into runnable environments.
• Design and prototype methods for mining useful tasks, trajectories, and evaluation cases from historical workflows.
• Experiment with learning objectives and task design to maximize performance while controlling costs.
• Create eval sets that are representative, reproducible, and resistant to overfitting.
• Collaborate with the CTO and deploy into real enterprise workflows.
