Job summary

Hey Noah in Palo Alto is seeking an engineer to design and improve autonomous agents that perform real work for executives. You will own a broad area from day one, work directly with our CTO, and see your work reach executives the same week.

You'll focus on evaluation, production debugging, and system-wide improvements, using Python, Django, React, TypeScript, and Harness Engineering to push capabilities from prototyping to production.

Qualifications

• Must be able to design and implement production-grade features for autonomous agents.
• Strong experience with Python-based tech stack and web frameworks.
• Solid understanding of building reliable, measurable AI-enabled workflows.
• Ability to reason about model reliability and failure modes.

Responsibilities

• Own a broad area from day one, working directly with the CTO.
• Design new capabilities and prove they work on real conversations.
• Find where Noah fails in production and fix the system, not just patch examples.
• Ensure end-to-end delivery of tasks with high accuracy and reliability.
• Take part in evaluation-heavy work and practical engineering to shrink the 1% tail of failures.
• Collaborate across prompts, traces, model outputs, code, databases, and APIs to diagnose issues.
