Cardinal Health – Sonexus Health Pharmacy Services is seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to join our AI & Innovation team. This role will focus on designing and delivering scalable, production-ready AI solutions for healthcare and life sciences, with a strong emphasis on Agentic AI, agent orchestration, and Large Language Models (LLMs). The ideal candidate will help advance Sonexus’ mission of improving patient access, affordability, and therapy outcomes by embedding responsible, secure, and compliant AI capabilities into enterprise healthcare workflows.
As an AI Engineer, you will be responsible for building, deploying, and scaling GenAI‑powered applications that support healthcare operations, patient services, and internal clinical‑adjacent workflows. You will work closely with product, engineering, data, and business stakeholders to ensure AI solutions are reliable, compliant, and aligned with healthcare regulations and enterprise standards.
