Job summary

Lock Joint Tub is seeking an Accountant who will apply accounting principles to analyze financial information and prepare reports. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 1+ year accounting experience.
• Experience with general ledger functions and month-end close.
• ERP software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations for accurate reporting.
• Assist with month end closing including journal entries.
• Support sales, use, and property tax compliance tasks.
• Assist in planning, budgeting, and forecasting of expenses.
• Assist with annual audit procedures as needed.
• Prepare monthly plant analysis for management review.
• Maintain records retention and document management.
• Work with asset accounting and depreciation calculations.
• Analyze cost changes related to product design and manufacturing.
• Support inventory accounting and periodic physical counts.
