Job summary

Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with an established, growing company in Stuttgart, AR to recruit a Staff Accountant for a hybrid role that blends on-site and remote work. You will support full-cycle accounting across multiple entities, contribute to month-end close, and help prepare financial statements under the guidance of senior leadership.

The position requires 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting (or equivalent experience), and strong QuickBooks

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, but exceptional experience considered.
• Strong general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• QuickBooks Desktop experience required; proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Multi-entity accounting experience preferred.
• Manufacturing or construction accounting experience, particularly job costing and WIP, a strong plus.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable utilizing AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle accounting activities across multiple entities, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Support financial reporting and accounting activities across multiple entities.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.
• Assist with job costing, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, and related accounting activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and transactions using QuickBooks Desktop.
• Take on additional accounting responsibilities to support senior financial leadership and improve overall efficiency.
