Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables).
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work both independently and on a team.
• Experience in Sage 300, TRUX, Platform, Tower, QuickBooks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain accrual schedules and complete timely revenue/expense recognition.
• Perform monthly balance sheet and expense account reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed assets and depreciation in subledger.
• Set up vendor accounts for Accounts Payable.
• Analyze P&L and explain results to leadership.
• Support external auditors with documentation and data.
• File State/Local filings as required.
• Assist with process improvements and cross‑functional solutions.
