Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of accounting experience in a corporate accounting environment.
• Experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries to support accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies, ensuring balances are complete and accurate.
• Analyze accounting activity and identify potential issues before they become problems.
• Review outstanding balances, validate supporting information, and ensure compliance with state reporting requirements.
• Support month-end close activities and assist with various accounting and reporting projects.
• Partner with operations and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial data and proper documentation.
