Job summary

CAPSTONE CPA, a local Westerville, Ohio CPA firm, seeks an experienced professional with 2–6 years in public accounting to grow with the team. The role focuses on financial statement compilations, write-up services, and comprehensive tax return work for individuals and entities.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Accounting; CPA is a plus. Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop/Online, MS Excel, MS Word, and UltraTax is expected.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years in public accounting
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
• CPA a plus
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop/Online and UltraTax

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements up to compilations and write-up
• Assist with federal, state and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Prepare 1099s and related forms
• Maintain workpaper preparation per firm standards
• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
• Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines
• Track daily time using firm billing software
• Develop client relationships and provide year-round service
