Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking an experienced Accountant to support key financial operations in the Greater Cleveland Area. This hands-on role offers exposure to leadership and potential to expand responsibilities over time.

You will participate in month-end and year-end closes, prepare journal entries and reports, and assist with cash flow forecasting. A strong background in GAAP, Excel, and ERP (NetSuite preferred) is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• ERP experience; NetSuite is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Manufacturing, distribution, inventory, audit, or public accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
• Assist with cash flow reporting and forecasting
• Handle sales & use tax filings and compliance activities
• Support inventory accounting, audits, and internal controls
• Analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies
• Recommend process improvements and operational efficiencies
