Seaboard Triumph Foods in Sioux City, IA seeks a Staff Accountant to support the integrity of financial results and plant assets. You will handle general ledger tasks, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close, while ensuring accurate reporting and strong internal controls.

You will also assist with sales/use tax, payables, asset tracking, inventory pricing, and audits, working with cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines and GAAP compliance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• Must be detail-oriented, effective, and able to work under strict timelines in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and bill records for outside warehouses.
• Prepare and update inventories for outside storage and report on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Post journal entries and reconcile bank and other accounts.
• Assist in monthly close and financial statements, including preparation of schedules.
• Support tax, vendor, and asset-related processes and ensure GAAP compliance.
